Head of Music – Malvern Campus, Caulfield Grammar School

Rebecca is a passionate and dedicated music educator with over a decade of experience in primary music teaching. As Head of Music at Caulfield Grammar School’s Malvern Campus, she leads a dynamic and inclusive program that nurtures musical excellence and joy across all year levels. A Kodály-trained music educator and vocalist, Rebecca places sequential, singing-based learning at the forefront of her practice, helping students build strong musical foundations through joyful, active music-making.

She teaches within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and brings together conceptual inquiry with the clarity and structure of Kodály pedagogy to support deep musical understanding. Under her leadership, the music program at Caulfield Grammar School continues to flourish—fostering student engagement, creativity, and a genuine love of music.

Rebecca holds a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne and has worked across a range of educational settings. Known for her kind and caring approach, she builds strong, positive relationships with both students and staff, creating a warm, supportive environment where every learner feels seen, valued, and inspired to thrive.

She is proud to open her classroom as part of this initiative and looks forward to connecting with fellow educators and sharing her passion for music education.
