Justification for leave applications

Please see below a few ideas for you to use in justifying your leave application at your school. Need this justification in a document? See here.

Observing other teachers can provide valuable insights into different teaching styles, classroom management techniques, and strategies for engaging students.

Seeing an experienced, trained Kodály teacher working in a classroom with students, enables people both new to Kodály teaching, and those who’ve been around a while to find new ways to implement Kodály knowledge in their own school context.

Seeing how other teachers approach specific challenges or implement particular learning activities can spark reflection on one's own teaching practices and identify areas for improvement.

Observing different age groups and learning styles can broaden understanding of student needs and help teachers tailor their instruction accordingly.

By seeing how other teachers approach their work, teachers can become more aware of their own strengths and weaknesses and identify areas for professional growth.

Visiting other teachers' classrooms can spark new ideas and approaches to teaching, leading to innovative and effective practices.
